BROOM (see Japanese term Hokidachi) - Bonsai style generally based on the natural growth habit of the Zelkova where all the branches arise from the same point at the top of a straight trunk.  All branches are more or less equal in weight and sub-divide at diminishing intervals forming a regular dome shaped crown.
