BRANCH STRUCTURE - Describes the overall size, placement and form of the branches on a tree.

In Bonsai there are some simple generic rules: branches should be evenly distributed around the tree, emerging from the trunk in a natural way, with the heaviest branches being the lower ones.  See also Branch Pruning.
