WHAT WE DO
The Scottish Bonsai Association is a member-led community dedicated to promoting and celebrating the art of bonsai across Scotland. We offer support, inspiration and opportunities to bonsai enthusiasts of all levels to connect and grow, promoting and encouraging the art of bonsai and participation in the hobby.
We meet regularly at venues throughout Scotland, once a month. Our meetings are informal and welcoming, providing a space to share ideas, learn new techniques and discuss bonsai trees that have been brought along.
In addition to our monthly meetings, we organise events that are open to both members and the wider public. These include exhibitions, workshops, and demonstrations designed to foster appreciation of bonsai and encourage participation in the hobby.
The Scottish Bonsai Association
The Scottish Bonsai Association (SBA) was formed in 1979. Our aim is to promote interest and participation in the art and culture of Bonsai in Scotland.
