Existing Bonsai A To Z Entry for Privet - (Ligustrum) Privet - (Ligustrum)  - (Tree Type (Outdoors)) Hardy, semi-deciduous shrub with a number of varieties (Sinse : Chinese Privet, Vulgare : Common Privet and Ovalifolium (Oval Leaf Privet). Bears small oval leaves (more pointed on common privet) and small white summer blossoms on a "twiggy" branch structure.
