Branches are covered in distinctive three pointed thorns. STYLE : Suitable for informal upright, slanting, semi-cascade or twin trunk. WARNING : None recorded. Care Info  REPOT : Every other year in early spring just prior to bud burst. SOIL : Ideally Akadama or 40:60 grit:organic. PRUNE : Prune hard or right back to trunk in winter. PINCH : Trim new shoots constantly throughout summer. SOIL : Free draining soil such as Akadama. WATER : Daily throughout growing season but infrequently during winter months. FEED : Balanced feed every two weeks during spring/summer. WARNING : None recorded.
