
Originally from Nepal this hardy, evergreen tree is distinguished by rich, orange/brown bark and feathery, silver-blue foliage.
The dense growth pattern, flexible branches and ability to regenerate shoots make it an ideal subject for bonsai.

WARNING : Particularly vulnerable to spider mite. Young shoots are easily detached from branches.
Care Info
REPOT : Every 2 years in spring.
SOIL : Free draining soil 60:40 grit:organic. The addition of some (20%) sphagnum moss provides added benefit.
PRUNE : May be pruned any time but late summer is best when sap is not rising fast and likely to cause bleeding.
PINCH : Pinch back growing tips with fingers continuously to mainatin shape and access to light. Remove all downward growing shoots.
WATER : Water well in growing season, keep moist in winter. Spray regularly with water.
FEED : Balanced feed in growing season, nitrogen free in autumn.
