Forth Valley: Tuesday 7th Oct     at 7.30pm in the Mayfield Centre, Bannockburn. Workshop with Alan Tytler giving information and advice about
                                                       the care of trees need in the autumn as they become dormant, so bring your trees to check wiring, clean them up
                                                       and prepare for their long sleep. You may have some that will also benefit from some judicious styling now, as
                                                       structure becomes visible when leaves fall. Lets encourage our newer members to bring along a tree or two to
                                                       display as well as any you might have spare to pass on, for a small donation, as practice material.

Glasgow: Sunday 19th Oct        at 1pm in the Kibble Palace workshop, Glasgow Botanic Gardens. Weather and trees permitting we hope to show off
                                                      some autumn colours, at the same time as getting down to those seasonal tasks - checking and renewing wiring,
                                                      cleaning up moss, algae and weeds etc- with the help of experienced friends. Come along for a friendly afternoon in
                                                      pleasant surroundings.

Lanarkshire: Sunday 5th Oct       at 1 pm at Wattston Bonsai.

West Lothian: Thur 2nd Oct    at 7:30pm in the Almond Valley Heritage Centre, Livingston. Opportunity to get some pre winter work done on all
                                                    your trees and last minute pine work (needle plucking, bud selection and wiring). Bring along trees you want to work
                                                    on or need some help with. Friends and acquaintances interested in bonsai are always welcome so bring them along
                                                    and let them see what we get up to.

                                                    Saturday 11th October sees us putting on a small display at the West Lothian Arts Exhibition in the Regal Theatre
                                                    Bathgate from 12 noon until 4:00pm. An opportunity to engage the public and perhaps attract a few more members.
