Pop in anytime after 12 noon to learn new skills and get the benefit of expert advice. Forth Valley group are proposing holding two summer school sessions on 15th June and 24th August at 2pm in the Broompark Centre, Denny. A fine chance for a chat over a cuppa and  to carry out any essential maintenance and styling on your trees. Contact John (FV convenor) for details.

After the resounding success of Edinburgh group's first bonsai blether they plan to repeat the events on Sunday 22nd June and Sunday 24th August at the Scout Hall in Currie from 1:30 to 5:00pm each day. Convenor can supply further details.

Trustees and carers of the National Bonsai Collection of Scotland welcome members to the Suntrap gardens on Sunday 17th August to view the progress with trees held in the national collection. Drinks and snacks will be available and there will be an auction of some of the late Jim Barclays trees kindly donated by his wife Jean. Your chance to add a quality tree or two to your collection.

September sees the 3rd Newstead show at Newstead Bonsai Centre. Well worth a visit with the Lanarkshire group having 6 trees selected for entry.
